This necklace is made from the heart of the most physically dense pinecone in the world. The cross section displays the cone’s interlocking wings that culminate into various Fibonacci patterns.
The blue stone at the core of this piece is known as Lapis Lazuli. This stone was crushed and used by artists as blue pigment for centuries. Artists exhumed from certain regions in Europe were believed to have been artists because of the crushed lapis sediment that was found deep along what would have been their gum lines.
